Tomato Boconccini Platter


  • 8 perfect Roman Tomatoes
  • Cherry Bocconcini – sliced
  • Fresh Basil leaves
  • 3 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • Balsamic Vinegar – optional


  • Wash tomatoes, cut across into slices but not through to the base, so tomato fans out.
  • Tuck a slice of Bocconcini between each fanned tomato slice.
  • Insert basil leaves attractively into tomato slices.
  • Arrange on a platter or individual plates, then drizzle with oil and vinegar.
